Pixel 3 Promises Better Grip, Not So Much For One-Handed Users

Most, if not all flagship smartphones today have a screen size that is no smaller than 5.2-inch and they are also sold alongside a larger variant of the same device.

This is basically the recipe for Google’s Pixel series as the flagship phone is often produced with an XL variant beside it. The only problem with large displays is that one-handed users will find it difficult to operate the phone.

The Pixel 2 managed to offer some ease with one-handed operations as the measurements can allow a large section of the crowd to access the screen with a single thumb and grip throughout the height of the device.

But for the upcoming Pixel 3, it looks like the world is going to get better grip instead of screen accessibility through one-handed use. Several leaks have surfaced online claiming that the Pixel 3 will have a screen that measures at about 5.3”. The Pixel XL, on the other hand, will have a notch display that measures at 6.2”.

Based on the leak, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will have a taller and narrower body when compared to the Pixel 2 hence suggesting on greater grip but lesser capabilities to function with a single hand.

The intriguing bit here is that every leak on the Pixel 3’s display thus far is similar to one another which makes the outcome all the more likely. Just see it for yourself below.
