Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: Forgotten Phone Finally Gets Attention

By  |

Age appears to be just a number for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Despite being close to its second birthday, the Galaxy S6 Edge is getting way more updates than expected.

We are not sure if this has anything to do with the disastrous Galaxy Note 7 but ever since the phablet left the market, Samsung has been giving the S6 Edge some extra attention. It is surprising because this wasn’t the case several months ago.

Back in mid-2016, S6 Edge users were complaining and moaning about the number of issues with the device like quick battery drain. Now, this is being fixed by Samsung as we speak and the tech giant even promised to offer the Android 7.1 Nougat update for the device.

If that is not good enough, Samsung said that they will continue to offer security support on a monthly basis and the Galaxy S6 Edge may also get a new user interface.

Things are looking good for the Galaxy S6 Edge and we hope it keeps up until the device has reached its second birthday.
