Samsung Galaxy S7 Could Mark The End Of Note Series!

By  |

We are a couple of days away from 2016 and next year will see Samsung launching their next flagship device, the Galaxy S7. Earlier today, Samsung made a big reveal for the S7 and it strongly suggests that they are not going to develop the next Galaxy Note.

In case you have missed it, Samsung shared that the S7 will be coming in three sizes. The smallest trim will feature a 5.1” screen, the mid trim will feature a 5.5” screen and the largest S7 will have a 6” display. Unfortunately, Samsung didn’t explain on their decision to produce multiple sized S7.

For us, we believe that it is all down to sales. Last year saw the S6 Edge+ selling more than the Note 5. This suggests that consumers only purchased the Note series due to its big screen and battery life, because of the stylus. Hence, we are expecting the S7 Plus to take the place of the Note entirely.

Of course, this is just the way we view the logic behind Samsung’s decision to produce the S7 in three sizes. Samsung has yet to reveal on the fate of the Note series but we can expect to hear more about it next year.

Obviously the S6 Edge+ sold more than the Note 5 because Samsung limited availability of the Note 5 and still haven’t released it in Europe.

That sounds like sad news.I have just bought a note 4 Samsung and am v v pleased with it.wish I’d found it a year ago. Am learning to link it with the 2016 one note prog. It feels just what the busy life style in 2016 needs. Type write speak notes or texts. Don’t drop the idea. Develop it much more. Its life helping. Thanks Peter B
