Samsung Galaxy S7: T-Mobile Users Get Ahead

By  |

It was only last week when Samsung announced on the November Security Update and the patch is already getting pushed out here in the US. This is quite surprising since it normally takes Samsung 3 weeks to roll out an update following its announcement.

To make it more shocking, the update is happening in the US as we speak and it is being released to both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The jaw-dropping moment is when we discovered that T-Mobile is the one updating its Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with the November Security Patch.

Despite not being a major firmware upgrade, T-Mobile surprised us all for being among the first to push out the update. The November Security Patch is 82MB in size and they come in two different names – G930TUVU4PK1 for the Galaxy S7 and G935TUVU4APK1 for the Galaxy S7 edge.

So if you are a user of the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, you should be receiving the November Security Update notification any time now. Just make sure to apply the update over a Wi-Fi network to not waste data.
