Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Apple iPhone 7: Extreme Diving Comparison

Water resistant certification on smartphones should not be taken literally as they are nothing more than a rough measurement of how much water the device can weather the storm.

We say this because many are claiming the all-new Apple iPhone 7 to be second best to the Samsung Galaxy S7 when it comes to water proofing. The iPhone 7 may be newer than its rival but it only received IP67 certification whereas the Galaxy S7 is IP68 certified.

This means that the former can remain submerged in water for about 30 minutes at a depth of 1 metre and the latter can handle a deeper depth of 1.5 metres. On papers, the Samsung Galaxy S7 may look like the obvious winner but the only way to find out is to truly test both devices water resistance to the maximum limit.

EverythingApplePro is well ahead of us as the team sent both the S7 and iPhone 7 into the deep ocean to find out which device will die first. The video is embedded below and you may get surprised by the result.
