Samsung Galaxy S8 Can’t Keep Up With OnePlus 5T!

Here in the world of Android smartphones, OnePlus can be described as the company with the worst after-sales software support. The manufacturer from China made it big through selling high-powered devices for less than the price of an average flagship developer.

But then again, that is the only good thing about getting a OnePlus device. The company is really poor on most other aspects – particularly with the act of releasing software updates to their sold devices.

On the other hand, things have been improving for OnePlus through the 5T as the latest flagship received Android Oreo update at a much earlier time than expected. It gets more interesting when you realized that the 5T has received Oreo much earlier than an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8.

The Galaxy S8 is the bestselling Android flagship last year and to see Samsung losing their grip on after-sales support is something which surprised us most.

The worst part about this whole thing is that Samsung is now slower than OnePlus in launching updates and this is likely to have a negative effect on the sales end. Things will need to improve for Samsung once Android P gets released.
