You May Want To Skip Pixel 2 For Pixel 2 XL!

The Pixel 2 is the next big thing to come from Google and like the original Pixel, the phone will have a larger option that bears the XL moniker.

Today, official reports have confirmed that the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will retail at $649 and $849 respectively. This seems great for a flagship phone from Google since the prices are well below the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Note 8.

However, what bothers us is the pricing difference between the standard Pixel 2 and the XL variant. $200 is a big gap separating the two phones. As far as we know, the XL has got the better specs since it features a 6” display that operates at 18:9 ratio. Hardwares are mostly the same for both the Pixel 2 and XL.

Until Google releases the full specs for both versions of the Pixel 2, we feel like there is more to the XL than size. The price difference is huge and it is somehow attracting us to the XL just to find out if there is anything extra special with the phone. We’ll keep you updated when we have more word on the matter.
