ZTE Axon 7 Should Be Called The Second-Gen Nexus, Here’s Why
There is nothing exciting about the brand ZTE as the tech manufacturer is viewed as another China-based company that produces cheap phones. Well, the way consumers perceive ZTE should change for the better now because ZTE is actually offering more than the mainstream brands.
The all-new Axon 7 was launched last month and it came out with a number of great features to offer. The ZTE Axon 7 is just so good that it deserves to be called the next-gen Nexus phone, which never made it out of the Google factory.
We say this because the Axon 7 has got the hardwares and softwares right. The device relies on the Snapdragon 820 SoC with 6GB of RAM. It also have a 5.5” QHD display that is typical of a high-end flagship device.
The best part about the Axon 7 is that the smartphone is scheduled to receive Android 7.0 Nougat next week. On top of that, the device is already self-certified to be compatible with Google’s all-new Daydream VR headset.
With such an offering, it goes to say that the Axon 7 is more promising even when compared to the last Nexus flagship, the Nexus 6P. The latter is still far away from receiving the Nougat update and it can’t even support the VR headset yet.
