2014 Jeep Cherokee Gets Called Back!

Jeep will have to recall their Jeep Cherokee after it was reported that there might be an issue with the transmission of the vehicle. According to the report, the transmission of the Jeep Cherokee might shift into Neutral without warning.

The model that will be recalled is the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and according to NHTSA, there were 11 recalls and 1517 complains. Other issues that the vehicle had in the past include faulty air bags, windshield wipers, cruise control, rear shock absorbers and more.

The latest Jeep Cherokee recall is related to the faulty transmission similar to the previous recall back in 2016 where the nine-speed automatic transmission on some of the models would shift into neutral due to the transmission sensor cluster getting crimped improperly.

The recall will affect about 81,165 units of the 2014 Cherokee that were fitted with the 3.2-liter V6 engine. The fix will include a software update for the transmission. of course, it will be free of charge.
