Mazda EV Given Greenlight For Tokyo

Mazda has been teasing us about their upcoming new EV model for some time now and it looks like we won’t have to wait that long to learn more about the vehicle as Mazda confirm that they will be taking the covers off the EV at the upcoming 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.

Other than confirming the appearance date, Mazda did not reveal anything more about the new EV other than the fact that it will be a completely new model.

We are also in the dark about the engine as well but we do know that the prototypes were fitted with a 35.5kWh battery pack. Other details like the range is also still a mystery for now.

To learn more about the vehicle, we will have to wait just a little bit longer. The Tokyo Motor Show will be happening on the 25th of October until the 4th of November.
