New Lexus IS F Not Looking Too Good

For those waiting for a new-age IS-F sports sedan to be released, it looks like you might want to forget about it as Lexus suggest that that might not be happening at all.

With Lexus killing off the previous IS F, there have been a lot of talks about the automaker possibly looking to launch a new one soon but Scott Thompson, the Lexus Australia chief executive added that they had no such plan for that.

If Lexus does decide to bring it back, chances are we won’t see it with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine but a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

Lexus also does not feel the need to bring it back as they feel that the current offering is more than enough to make up for the missing IS F. Lexus does have a lot of exciting things to offer in the future including the posture control which was fitted to the LF-30 concept.
