About a decade ago, cars that can sprint from 0-60MPH in under 4 seconds are automatically viewed as supercars and they are really expansive to own. Today, things are very different as more and more vehicles that cost under $100,000 are able to complete a sprint to 60MPH in a swift manner.

Well, it gets more exciting now that Ford has announced on a much improved Mustang for 2018. Ford revealed that the 2018 Mustang GT will get the ability to sprint from 0-60MPH in under 4 seconds regardless of trims or packages.

In other words, you can enjoy the sprint speed of supercars from a decade ago on a base model 2018 Ford Mustang GT. The best part is that the Mustang GT will only cost you less than $40,000.

The Mustang GT will be powered by a 5L V8 engine that is refined to offer 460hp and 420ft-lbs of torque. Power is managed by the new 10-speed automatic gearbox thus making the Mustang GT better optimized for performance.
