2018 Kia Stinger GT Priced To Beat Ford Focus RS, Subaru WRX STI

The Stinger GT is the next big thing to come from Kia and many can’t wait for the car to become available for sale. This cannot be helped as the Stinger GT is going to be Kia’s first ever road-legal performance car when released.

Today, we received new information from South Korea and it is that the Stinger GT is going to retail under $30,000 when released. The car will become available for purchase tomorrow at the Seoul Auto Show and it will have an opening price of $27,000 after conversion to US dollars.

The pricing in South Korea is expected to get brought forward into the US and this means that the car is going to be extremely affordable to own. For that small fee, you will get to enjoy a 2L 4-pot mill that can develop 250hp. If you spend a couple of thousands more, you will get to enjoy the 370hp V6 mill.

With such a pricing structure, we don’t see why the Stinger GT can’t make leaps on the sales front. The car’s affordability will certainly give it an edge over other performance cars namely the Subaru WRX STI and the Ford Focus RS. Are you pleased with this?
