2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport Still Did Not Get The Memo

By  |

Most vehicles are being offered with Android Auto and Apple Carplay support now. We did not see that happen for the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport and were hoping it would be happening for the 2018 mode but it looks like Land Rover has decided to ignore the wishes of the consumers once more.

There is definitely a lot to love about the 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport. The vehicle not only looks great but it will also come with a standard list of tech features except for the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also offers a quiet ride and has no issue being a little more adventurous.

The Land Rover Discovery Sport also fits the bill of anybody looking for a luxury compact SUV but then again, if you are looking for a luxury model, there is also the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC to consider. When it comes to off-roading, models from Jeep might be more affordable as well.

That along with the fact that Land Rover is keeping the Discovery Sport in the past by withholding the new techs could be what turn many people off the luxury SUV.

You must have missed the memo. CarPlay and Andoid Auto will be added towards the beginning of 2019 to all Jaguar / Land Rover models with the Incontrol /Incontrol Duo option.
