2018 Nissan Leaf vs Tesla Model 3: Which Is Better?

By  |

Very soon from now, Nissan is going to launch the next-gen Leaf and the car will be going directly against the upcoming Tesla Model 3. Both vehicles are made to be affordable and they both carry a huge prospect for success. So, which is better?

It is pretty hard to tell this early on due to the lack of information on both cars but it does look like the Nissan Leaf is on the front foot of things. We say so because Google recently named the 2018 Leaf as the most searched green car around and this highlights on the level of anticipation for the car.

Furthermore, the Leaf’s design is getting a lot of positive feedback due to it being based on the IDS Concept. The same can’t be said for the Model 3 as a large section of the crowd is not pleased with the car’s proportions.

In addition to that, the range-topping Leaf is targeting a driving range that is well beyond the 300 mile mark, all while retailing under $40,000. The Model 3 may have a similar range but it will be a lot pricier than the Leaf.

Last but not least is with the fact that the Leaf will come with ProPilot. The autonomous system from Nissan is described to be better than Tesla’s Autopilot and this could very well be the Leaf’s finisher on the Model 3. What do you think?

Go LEAF!!! Go NISSAN!!! Moving against all odds, yet again!! LEAF = Bravery in silent motion! The revolutionary car that successfully started the current tsunami of affordable pure EVs. Without the LEAF’s success, other automakers would’ve shied away from such risky propositions. Thank you for your geopolitical fortitude Nissan!!!
