2019 Chevrolet Camaro V8 & Corvette C7 Kicked Out Of Europe

With Europe now adopting the new WLTP emissions, it looks like some of the more powerful models will not be able to stay anymore.

It was reported that Chevrolet might have to remove the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Corvette C7 with a V8 engine from their Europe line up as these models does not comply with the new WLTP emission standard. Chevrolet later confirmed the news saying these models were not certified for the new WLTP but there might still be hope for the C8 Corvette as they did not mention it leaving as well and added that we will have to wait for the reveal in July to learn more about it.

While the Chevrolet Camaro V8 and Corvette C7 will have to leave Europe by the 1st of September 2019, they will still be sold in Switzerland as the country is not a member of the European Union which means they will not have the same emission regulations.
