2019 Ford Edge Update Is All About The Tech

The 2019 Ford Edge will be entering the Europe market as a facelifted model. Besides getting some minimal exterior upgrade, the Ford Edge will also be fitted with a long list of additional features and tech. Here is what you can expect from the 2019 Ford Edge.

According to Ford, the facelifted Ford Edge will come in as the most technologically advanced SUV ever as it will be fitted with more driver assistance system. The Active Cruise Control will now come with the Stop & Go feature along with the Evasive Steering Assist system.

Other safety features that will come as standard includes the Adaptive Front Lighting System, Blind Sports Information System, Glare-Free High Beam, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Lane Keeping Alert, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection and Traffic Sign Recognition.

On the inside, the Edge will be getting features like wireless charging pad, optional B&O sound system with 12 speakers and more. There is also the ST-Line and Vignale trim option for those looking for more.

The 2019 Ford Edge will come running on the 2.0-liter EcoBlue engine that will deliver about 187hp and will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
