2019 Honda Passport: A Mix Of Everything?

By  |

Honda did manage to keep the Honda Passport a surprise until a few weeks ago and now they are ready to show us what they have been working for. The 2019 Honda Passport will be coming in to sit in between the Honda Pilot and Honda CR-V.

While we are all for having more crossover options, it looks like a lot of people were not too happy with the design of the new crossover. Based on what people are saying right now, the Honda Passport looks like it was part Compass part Forester and they are not too happy about that. What we think looks like is the Pilot but a stubbier version.

Powering the Honda Passport is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that will be offering about 280hp and 262lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Although the front wheel drive system is the standard system offered, the i-VTM4 torque vectoring all-wheel-drive system will also be available on all trims.

Honda will also be releasing a long lost of accessories for the Passport including roof racks, roof boxes and more. The new Honda Passport is expected to go on sale next year as a 2019 model.
