2019 Hyundai Veloster Fix Door Issue To Get Better Safety Rating

By  |

The 2019 Hyundai Veloster failed to get the Top Safety Pick safety award from IIHS the last time after their driver door became unlatched in the side impact test but Hyundai did not give up.

After the testing, they updated the Veloster giving it an improve driver door which was fitted on all Veloster after January and according to IIHS, the updated model is worthy of their Top Safety Pick awards.

Besides working on updating the door, Hyundai also updated the headlights on the Turbo model to get an Acceptable rating this time. Other than the crash test, the vehicle will also be given an Acceptable rating for its Child seat LATCH anchor.

While the newer Veloster does have a better safety rating, what about the older 2019 Hyundai Veloster? Well, Hyundai will be issuing a recall notice for these older 2019 models so that their owner can come in and get their doors updated.
