The 2019 Kia Optima Sportwagen PHEV will be coming in with a few changes including design and features. Here’s what’s new on the 2019 model.

The 2019 Kia Optima Sportwagon PHEV will be coming in with a redeisgn lower front bumper along with a new LED daytime running lights. Kia will also be fitting it with a 17inch alloy wheels. Those to get the PHEV Plus upgrade in UK will get some additional features like panoramic sunroof, Smart HIgh Beam Assist, power tailgate, wireless mobile phone charger, leather upholstery and more.

While it did get a few design upgrade and new feautres, the Kia Optima Sportwagon PHEV will still offer about 33miles of all electric drive thanks to the 2.0 liter petrol engine and electric motor under the hood which will offer about 202hp and 276lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six speed automatic transmission.

The 2019 model will also come with what they are calling the active front grille which will lower the drag co-efficient of the vehicle to 0.28 when close. The Kia Optima Sportwagon PHEV will be offered in the UK with a £34,995 price tag.
