Aston Martin did teased us with a possible crossover years ago when they showed off the concept of a crossover at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. Now, years after that, we are finally getting real close to the Aston Martin crossover.

Called the Aston Martin DBX, here is what we know about the upcoming crossover right now. Aston Martin had shown us bits and pieces of the exterior design and while some people are happy with the new direction that Aston Martin is taking since this is a new path for them as well but others were not too happy with the suddent change of design direction.

The Aston Martin DBX will be coming in with a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 engine that was fitted into the Vantage. The engine offered about 503hp adn 505lb ft of torque and will most likely be fitted with an eight speed ZF automatic transmission. We should also see the twin-turbo V12 being offered as well.

The Aston Martin DBX will be coming to compete with models like the Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga, Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Jaguar F-Pace and a few other models.
