2020 Audi S6: Fake It Till It Makes It

The 2020 Audi S6 will be given a few changes some major and minor but the most frustrating part of the upgrade s probably the exhaust.

While it is pretty common to see some automaker fake the exhaust for various reasons, the Audi S6 is taking things to the next level as Audi choose to fit the vehicle with a set of quad round tailpipes which looks pretty nice but are of course fake. Not one of the four is functional as the real tailpipes are hidden behind the bumper.

It is said that Audi chooses to do so to make it look like the predecessors where four tailpipes are needed for the V10 engine. The new model will come powered by a 3.0 liter V6 TDI engine that will be offering about 344hp and 516lb ft of torque and will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Audi has chosen not to offer a petrol engine option in Europe anymore.

The exhaust is not the only fake item on the vehicle as Audi also added a fake petrol V8 engine sound to cover up the diesel engine sound.
