2020 BMW M5 Celebrates 35 Years With Special Edition

It might not feel like it but the BMW M5 has been around for 35 years now and BMW is celebrating it with the release of a 35 Year edition.

Called the 2020 BMW M5 Edition 35 Years, the vehicle will be based off the BMW M5 Competition model and will come powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that will be offering about 617hp and 553lb ft of torque. The engine will allow the vehicle to go from 0 to 60mph in 3.1 seconds with a top speed if 124mph.

To make sure it does not get mistaken for the standard model, this was given an Individual Frozen Dark Grey II metallic pain on the outside along with a set of 20inch M light alloy wheels with Graphite Grey finish.

On the inside, the vehicle will be fitted with a pair of M sports seats with BMW Individual Merino black leather with contrasting beige stitching. The most eye-catching feature on the inside will be the gold anodized aluminum carbon structure.

BMW will only be making 350 units of thee M5 models and only 35 out of those will make their way to the US. The model will retail for $128,995.
