2020 Citroen C4 Cactus Successor To Be Offered With EV Option

Citroen already has a few EV models to offer now including the C-Zero, E-Mehari and E-Berlingo Multispace but they are not stopping there as they confirm that the C4 Cactus will also be getting an EV successor.

According to CEO Lindo Jackson, the successor will come riding on the extended version of the CMP platform, the same platform that the Peugeot 208 is using right now. The platform can support petrol, diesel, and electric engines so we should expect some electrification to happen for the C4 Cactus.

Besides revealing that, it was also added that Citroen will continue to support their diesel loving fans saying that as long as they are peple that are buying the diesel powered vehicles, they will not be ditching them.

Therewere also talks about Citroen possibly bringing back the C5 mid-size sedan but we will have to wait and see how that pans out.
