2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500: Fans Need To Unite For The Manual Transmission

Ford has already announced that the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be coming in with a six-speed manual transmission which was a huge dissapointment for the manual drivers but there is still hope.

According to Carl Widdman, the chief engineer for Ford Mustang, the vehicle could still be offered with a manual trasnmission in the future. While the DCT is the only option now, they will still listen to their fans and see what they want.

That means if the demand for a manual transmission is overwhelmng, Ford could still offer it but then again. While we do think it wold be nice to have a manual transmission, we don’t think there would be enough demand to actually convince Ford that they need to make the change.

The 2020 Ford Mustang Shely GT500 will be coming in with a 5.2 liter V8 supercharged engine that will be offered with 700hp.
