2020 Ford Police Interceptor Utility Revealed, Failed To Impress

Ford revealed their 2020 Ford Police Interceptor Utility by releasing a few images online giving us a first look at what the vehicle will look like when it finally arrives.

The Ford Police Interceptor Utility will be fitted with a 3.3 liter hybrid engine with an all-wheel driver powertrain. Other engine options includes the 3.0 liter EcoBoost and the 3.3 liter V6 engine which will also be getting the all-wheel drive system. The engines will be mated to a 10 speed automatic transmission.

It was reported that the 3.3 liter hybrid engine would allow the vehicle to go from 0 to 100mph in 4.7 seconds with is a little faster than the previous model. The vehicle will also have a top speed of 137mph.

While it is nice to finally see this version of the Explorer, it seems like the public are not too impress with the desgin changes are they felt that Ford took a step backwards when it comes to the design.
