2020 GMC Sierra HD: Subtle Will Packed Full With New Tech

By  |

GMC is finally ready to take the covers off the 2020 GMC Sierra HD model and from what we get to see right now, it looks like the Sierra HD will look milder than the Silverado but only a few tweaks here and there.

The Sierra HD will be powered by a 6.6 liter turbocharged Duramax V8 engine that will be offering about 445hp and 910lb ft of torque which matches what the previous model was offering but this time, it will be mated to an Allison-branded heavy duty version of the 10-speed transmission from GM. A gasoline version will also be offered but no details were released yet.

Other features that will be coming with the Sierra HD is the new steps in the bed side, MultiPro tailgate, a trailer camera system with 15 possible viewpoints, as well as the rear-view mirror screen from GM.

Those looking for something more rugged can opt for the AT4 off-road trim model which will also come with a few exterior upgrades like dark grilles and a few off-road features like skid plates, all-terrian tires, reworked springs and shocks and more.
