2020 Jaguar XE Keeping Things Simple

Jaguar will be keeping things simple with the 2020 Jaguar XE sports sedan model as they will be removing some powertrain option as well as trim levels.

Those looking for the diesel option will be sad to know that the 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine will no longer be offered. The base will now come with the 2.0 liter turbocharged Ingenium inline-four engine that will be offering about 247hp and will be mated to an eight speed automatic transmission.

Those looking for more will be offered the 2.0 liter Ingenium engine that will be offering about 296hp. Customers will only be offered two trim options this time, S and R-Dynamic S.

Besides changes to the engine and trim, Jaguar also made a few changes to the exterior and interior of the XE. On the outside, the 2020 model will be fitted wiht new bumpers along with new LED lights in the front and in the back.

On the inside, we will get the new InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainemnt system, new rearview camera and a wireless charger. The base model will now retail for $40,895.
