2020 Karma Revero GT: Pedestrian Warning Sound Shown Off

While the 2020 Karma Revero GT does come with an internal combustion engine, the engine is only there as a range extender which means the vehicle will be running on its electric motor most of the time so it will be pretty silent.

With the new regulation in place, Karma will have to fit the vehicle with some noisemaker and the automaker has just revealed the noise that the vehicle will make to alert the pedestrian of its presence.

Working with ECCO Safety Group, they have come out with a new noise that sounds almost like a rumbly hum like those we see in movies. Karma wanted it to be unique enough so that people will instantly know it is a Karma just by hearing it.

Of course, if you do not like it, the sound would be customizable int he future. The sound will be emitted from the speakers in the front and rear of the vehicle. The Revero GT is expected to arrive later this year and is available for pre-orders now.
