It looks like Maserati can’t really run away from electrification forever as the automaker has now revealed some of their plans for the near future including hybrid models that they will be offering.
According to Maserati, the 2020 Maserati Ghibli will come powered by a hybrid powertrain. No word on whether this will be the only option the vehicle will be offered but most people believe that the 3.0 liter V6 turbocharged engine could still be a thing.
The automaker has also confirmed that the next sports car will have an electric body and many people believe that they might be referring to the production version of the Alfieri concept that we saw a few years ago. We can also look forward to seeing a new crossover from Maserati coming our way.
Other models like the Levante, Ghibli and Quattroporte will also be given some mild update in a few years time.
