2021 BMW iNext Electric SUV: What We Know Now

By  |

BMW might not be ready to show off their 2021 BMW iNext Electric SUV right now but the vehicle has been spotted out in the open a few times now and here is what we have learned so far.

The latest spy image showed the BMW iNext SUV getting tested out in the cold. From what we can see, the vehicle will have a similar body size as the BMW X5 model and will also be the first model to come riding on the new platform that was made to accommodate both battery electric vehicles as well as ICE vehicles.

The new iNext will also act as the technology flagship for BMW. This model will come with a huge kidney grille where they will be fitting all sorts of sensors for the Level 3 self-driving system along with a new set of slim headlights.

There were also reports suggesting that the electric motor will be fitted to the rear. We do not know how much range we are going to get out of the BMW iNext model but the concept was offering about 380miles of range.

The BMW iNext SUV will be arriving in 2021.
