2021 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid: One Step Ahead Of The Competition

When it comes to hybrid midsize crossovers, there is actually a lot of options out there besides the RAV4 Hybrid including the Honda CR-V Hybrid and Ford Escape Hybrid but Toyota is now one step ahead of their competitors as they announce the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid option.

On the outside, the vehicle will look almost like the RAV4 Hybrid model but this Plug-In Hybrid will be getting a different grille along with vertical accents lights. The new image released by Toyota also showed it with a new Supersonic Red exterior color.

It was also added that the Plug-in Hybrid will be making its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show where we will be learning more about it. No engine details were revealed but it is speculated that we might see it coming in with a 2.5-liter inline-four engine that will be paired with electric motors and that it will have a combined output of 219hp.

For now, that is all we know about the upcoming 2021 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid.
