It is official. Ford has confirmed on the development of the next-gen Mustang Shelby GT350 and the car will arrive with a number of new things to offer.

The obvious upgrade is, of course, with the overall performance of the car. Power has been boosted on the new Shelby GT350 and the driving performance has been refined further.

However, performance isn’t the only thing that has been improved on the Shelby GT350 and it has led us to generate a list of 5 big changes on the vehicle. They are as follow.

• 5.2-liter V8 delivering 526 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. 8,250-rpm redline.
• Tremac 6-speed manual transmission
• Brakes are six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers from Brembo
• “Custom” Michelin Sport Cup 2s in 295/35 front and 305/35 rear running on new stiffer 19″ wheels.
• Updated aero including a reworked front grill and a new spoiler with a gurney flap. Developed from wind tunnel work done on the upcoming GT500 and experience gained from Ford Performance Mustangs used in road course racing
• New premium stereo option is a 12-speaker B&O PLAY audio system by HARMAN. All models come standard with an 8-inch touch screen that includes Sync 3, SiriusXM, and FordPass Connect.
