Alfa Romeo 8C: Supercar Gets The Nod

By  |

It is official. After founding success with the all-new Giulia and Stelvio, Alfa Romeo has moved on with the development of a new supercar. The vehicle will be none-other than a new generation 8C and the confirmation was made earlier today.

Alfa Romeo spoke at Fiat-Chrysler’s 5-year plan to reveal on their supercar dreams happening before 2022 and the preview of the vehicle hints on an entirely exciting offering.

As how you can see in the picture above, the future 8C is looking at carbon-fibre chassis, a twin-turbo mill, AWD drivetrain, mid-engine setup and some use of electric motors. The target output with the 8C is beyond 700hp whereas 0-62mph times is aiming to be under 3 seconds.

If we have to put our finger on it, Alfa Romeo will be bringing out a concept of the 8C at a major auto event next year. We will get a better idea on the supercar by then.
