Apple Still Can’t Figure Their Self-Driving Car Plans Out

Talks about Apple thinking about sticking their feet into the automobile industry has been going on for some time now but it looks like things might not be going as smooth as Apple hope it would.

CNBC reported that Apple will be dismissing over 200 employees this week. Apple later confirmed the layoffs and added that some employees under Project Titan has been transferred to other divisions.

It is believe that Apple has decided to change the direction under the new leadership of former Tesla senior engineering VP Doug Field in August last year. We still do not know where it is heading right now.

The initial plans was for Apple to develope their own self driving vehicles but that was later change to jsut the self-driving system but even that might not happen. Apple has been pretty secretive about Project Titan so we don’t expect to hear more about them anytime soon.
