Audi has made it pretty clear that they are looking to focus more on offering more EV models in the future and it is not the standard Audi models only as the automaker reveal that their Audi Sport division will also be offering some EVs in the future.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show, it was revealed that Audi is looking to offer the fourth-gen Audi RS 6 and the second-gen Audi RS 7 with electrification options using the 48-volt mild hybrid system.
They are also working on offering an Audi Sport plug-in hybrid model in the near future that would be able to travel on pure electric for a short distance.
On top of that, they are also busy working on turning the E-Tron GT Concept that we saw in LA last yea into a production model. It is believed the production model will be launch in the second half of 2020.
