Cadillac Confirms Next Escalade Won’t Be Revolutionary

By  |

In about a year from now, GM’s Cadillac will launch the highly anticipated Escalade facelift. The mid-cycle refresh for the luxury SUV has been strongly linked to getting some significant upgrades but Cadillac has written this off as false.

It was quoted by several dealers that attended the recent dealer meeting with Cadillac that the carmaker specifically described the next Escalade as evolutionary instead of revolutionary.

This basically means that the car will get upgraded but not to a point where it is completely different from the Escalades of today. The list of upgrades is still promising progress though as it will see the Escalade coming with a console-mounted shifter among other things.

Cadillac is expected to launch the production-ready Escalade before 2019 ends and they will then proceed to launch the vehicle through the 2020 model year.
