Chevrolet Colorado Bison Tattoos Name On Grille

Stamping a brand’s name on the grille of a pickup truck offers a unique design appeal but not every model can pull it off.

Take the newly-unveiled Chevrolet Colorado Bison as an example. The special edition model replaced the classy bow-tie logo with “Chevrolet” lettering flowing between the front headlights.

The idea is nice but the execution doesn’t fit the Colorado well and this is due to Chevrolet having a long name. It is unlike Ford or RAM where the names are short hence their application on a grille will give off a bold effect. Perhaps spelling out Chevy would’ve been the better choice for the Colorado Bison.

All that aside, the Colorado Bison is a pickup truck that is near-identical to the Colorado ZR2. Most of the changes are on the design front, as well as the pickup truck’s enhanced off-road-tailored mechanics.
