Cars are fast accelerating to become computer on wheels. Most cars today are too reliant on computers that they can be damaged or un-driveable if the operating computer if being hack, plagued by bugs or experience glitches.

Today, JD Power & Associates revealed the result of a survey which ranks the carmaker based on software problems. The survey took into account the complaints made on software glitches on cars since 2011, all the way until 2016.

The result surprised us when we learned that Tesla Motors, Volvo and Jaguar Land Rover have the most problematic car softwares. The biggest winners are with GMC’s Chevrolet, GM, Toyota, Subaru and Mazda.

We are unsure if it is right to say that the cars from GMC, Toyota, Subaru and Mazda are made for real drivers since their computers are not problematic at all. However, knowing that Tesla and Volvo have a highly advanced car computer, it does suggest so. What do you think?
