Dodge Challenger Can Break Records With NA Setup

When you have witnessed all the accomplishments of the Dodge Challenger Demon, you may feel that there is nothing left for Dodge to do aside from producing the next-gen Challenger. We had that thought and we have to say we got that wrong entirely.

About a month ago, Dodge pulled off another stunner with the Challenger and it is through the release of the Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320. This particular model is one that is not equipped with any superchargers, turbochargers or even electric motors.

The Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 is a pure performance car as it runs on a naturally-aspirated 6.4L V8 engine that can develop 485hp and 475ft-lbs of torque. With such an output, it didn’t take long for the Challenger to become the new speed record-holder under the pure engine category.
