GMC Sierra & Twin Recalled Along With A Few Others

The latest recall by GMC might be something that you will want to take notice if you do own one of the affected models as the issue could put the driver and passenger in serious risk.

According to GM, the faulty wheel-speed sensor on the recall models could fail leading to the braking of the wheel on one side pull the vehicle to a side and increasing the risk of an accident.

GM did add that they are not aware of any crashes or injuries related to the issue at the moment. Vehicles that will be affected by the recall including the 2014 – 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500, 2015 – 2020 Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon.

All these models were fitted with a 5.3-liter engine with the four-wheel-drive system and a 3.08 ratio rear axle. GM has already started notifying their dealers last month but no owner notification schedule has been offered yet.
