Honda is getting serious about their electric future as they announce that they will only be offering electric and hybrid models in Europe by 2020. Honda is ready to kick start their plan with the Honda Jazz which will only be offered with a hybrid engine option in Europe.
Honda did also made it clear that they are looking to phase out their diesel models in Europe by 2021 to focus on EV models and that they plan to go fully electric by 2025.
While it is clear that the consumers are now more accepting of EV vehicles especially with charging times getting shorter and charging stations becoming more common but we are not sure if the market is ready to go fully electric by 2025.
