Hyundai Elantra To Get New Look?

It looks like Hyundai is not planning to keep the current design around for long although it is still pretty fresh after the last facelift as spies have already started seeing a new Hyundai Elantra getting tested out in the open.

Based on how much camo stickers and covers the vehicle have on, most people would have assumed that Hyundai had to make a lot of changes underneath if they took all the effort to cover it up.

We can’t see much of the design but what we can see is that the vehicle will be sitting lower and that it will come with a longer and wider body this time. The headlights and grille are also position much lower now.

In terms of engine, rumors were suggesting that it will get the updated version of the current engine which is a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine. Other options include a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. The engines will most likely get a CVT or a dual-clutch automatic transmission.

No word on when this new Elantra will be coming in.
