Hyundai Might Dip Their Toes Into Mini Crossover Waters?

We are expecting to see more mini Crossover models coming into the market and it sounds like the next automaker that might be joining the party will be Hyundai and Kia.

According to AutoNews, Emilio Herrera, Kia’s Europe COO told them that they might be thinking about launching a crossover that will be smaller than the Stonic. It was added that no firm plan is in place now but said that he thinks it made sense and that he would like to see that happen.

Hyundai’s COO for the region also said something similar not too long ago as people are slowly moving away from small cars to crossovers and SUVs right now.

Some people believe that mini crossovers might eventually replace the small city cars that these automakers have to offer which is the Hyundai i10 and Kia Picanto. Other automakers like Jeep also seems to be making a similar move. What do you think?
