Infiniti QX55 Coupe-Crossover Gives Us A Little More

Infiniti announced a few months ago that they were looking to build a new SUV model and now they have a new teaser image for the upcoming QX55.

In the latest teaser image, we get to see the dramatic roofline that runs all the way to the fastback liftgate. Other details like the pronounced rear haunches and sculpted hood lines can also be seen.

Infiniti explain that the roofline here is inspired by the FX-crossover although the profile seems to be based on the QX50 premium compact crossover model.

The Infiniti QX55 will most likely come in to compete with models like the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe model which means it will probably get a front-wheel-drive system and will be mated to a CVT when it comes. As for the engine, we are expecting to see the same 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that will be offering about 268hp and 280lb ft of torque.

No word on how much the QX55 will be offered for.
