Ford might be done with the current Ford Fusion sedan but it looks like they have more tricks up their sleeves as spies spotted what looks like the crossover version of the Ford Fusion.
Ford did say that they want to start focusing on offering more crossover in the future but it looks like instead of getting new names for these crossovers, Ford will be sticking on some familiar names.
Overall, the prototyped looked like the Ford Fusion wagon but with much more ground clearance compared to the wagon. This has lead many to speculate that this could be the Fusion replacement possibly called the Ford Fusion Active based on the fact that they did try to work on a Focus Active but later scrap that plan.
With the kind of size that we are seeing here, it is also possible that it will come fitted with a 1.5 liter turbocharged inline 4 engine that will be offering about 181hp or maybe the 2.0 liter turbocharged inline 4 engine that will be offering about 250hp.
