Lexus LF-30 Electrified Concept To Kick Start EV Journey

Lexus was at the Tokyo Motor Show this year where they showed off some fo the new concept and product including the new Lexus LF-30 Electrified concept that will give us a sneak peek at what Lexus EVs could look like in the near future.

Not only will be seeing the design get carried over to the production model but the concept was also fitted with new tech that would eventually be offered on their EV models.

The vehicle was fitted with a 536hp powertrain that will be powered by a huge 110kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that will be mated to four in-wheel electric motors that would allow the vehicle to drive on front, rear or all-wheel drive.

The 5300 points vehicle will only need 3.8 seconds to go from 0-60mph and will have about 310miles of range to offer. With first-class traveling in mind, the passengers in the concept were given an air travel seat design and gesture-controlled screen. There is also a voice and gesture-controlled glass roof called SkyGate that the back seat passengers can enjoy with their seat reclined back.

Lexus has made it clear that they are aiming to have every car in its range come with some electric by 2025.
