Mazda Shows Off New EV In Tokyo

Mazda has made it very clear that they are working on a battery-powered Mazda EV model that they will be releasing next year and we will get to see how the new Mazda EV will look like when Mazda showed it off at the Tokyo Motor Show

The e-TPV which stands for electric-Technology Prove-put Vehicle and in an in-house developed powertrain that will consist of a 35.5kWh lithium-ion battery paired with a single electric motor that will be offering about 141hp and 195lb ft of torque. It was added that the vehicle could be able to offer about 124miles of range.

According to Automotive News, the new Mazda EV model will be offered in markets like Japan China and Europe. Some lucky few that did get the opportunity to try out the vehicle seems to be pretty pleased with what the upcoming model will have to offer.

More details will be revealed when Mazda shows it off at the Tokyo Motor Show happening next month.
