Mid-Engine Corvette Won’t Come With A Roar

Every passing day brings us closer to the release of the highly-anticipated, mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette C8 but we don’t have to wait until the car’s launch day to get a rough idea on how it performs.

Thanks to the occasional spy shots on the next-gen C8 Corvette, we can already see how good the car will be when placed on the track. The latest shot surfaced online through Jalopnik a week ago and it came in the form of a video.

The short clip basically shows the C8 Corvette racing on the Nurburgring and the takeaway here is with the low-volume exhaust note produced by the car. We don’t know about you but the mid-engine setup has got an audio that is very similar to the Acura NSX.
