Mitsubishi Wants Their SUVs To Give Each Other More Space

With all the changes that have been happening in the SUV market, things can get quite messy as automakers start adding in and removing new models and it seems like Mitsubishi now feels like their SUVs are now too close to each other and are looking to create more space in between each model.

According to the automakers, three of their main SUVs, the Mitsubishi Outlander, Eclipse Cross, and Outlander Sport will have at least 200 millimeters of space in between each other.

If that is the case, the Outlander will be made larget now while the Outlander Sport will have to be shrunk down. It is also possible to see the Eclipse Cross get a few more inches after this adjustments.

We should start seeing these updated model coming next year. On top of the size update, it is also likely that we will see some new powertrain options that will include the plug-in hybrid and EV options along with the new Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi platform.
